CONGRESS VENUES
The NMMC2026 will start on the afternoon of September 13th with the Opening Ceremony at the Rettorato venue, located in the city centre (Address: Piazza Pugliatti, 1).
The meeting will continue up to September 16th morning in the conference room “Vittorio Ricevuto” at the Papardo academic campus, belonging to the University of Messina and located in Viale Ferdinando Stagno d’Alcontres, 31.
Messina is served by three airports, all connected by public transport to the City Center:

Getting Around Messina
Two strategic pick-up points from the city center to “Papardo campus” will be available in the morning. The same applies from “Papardo campus” to the city center at the end of the afternoon meeting session.
This service is included in the registration fees.
Additionally, the city is served by a shuttle bus (Line 1) that runs through the entire city, from south to north.
The local bus network also connects neighbourhoods and nearby towns.
The “Papardo campus” can be easily reached by buses 24, 31, 32, and 39.
The bus stop is “Viale Stagno d’Alcontres, via Archimede”.
Taxis are widely available for faster or more direct transfer.
